Vineyard variability and terroir making sense of a sense of place

Thank you for your presentation.It was very informative and I found it very relevant with regards to the McLaren Vale wine region.With particular reference to the Rotundones in wines,I know of a strip of vineyards along the Willunga foothills that produce very peppery wines.Some years these parcels of fruit are that bold they are not palatable on a single vineyard scale.Thank you again,Ian.
