im american and still think its better to give the spot to the team that won the league, not mls cup. the league is harder to win and you have to maintain form over the course of the season. regarding strikes, if a team strikes i hope they give the spot to a team next up. i don't care if we have to bring in everton to replace chelsea. i live on the east coast of the us and will be going to the games held in my state. give me anyone, i dont need the manchester city or arsenal teams if they want to cry about playing games.

The NFL is many orders richer than the EPL, and plays regular season games in England and more recently Germany.. so for the EPL to have a few regular season games in the USA could only help their bottom line and increase US support for English clubs against Spanish clubs.

However the fans in this country don’t want their teams playing anywhere else, they pay for a season ticket and want to watch every game in England .
