The greatest of all time. Vinnie never fails to amaze me with something totally new that I’ve never heard him do before, and I’ve been listening to him for decades.

question; wheres the beat? and there begs the question, why?
@AHgameplay3 жыл бұрын
The bass player didnt even know where the beat was...he had to stop the grove, so he could catch up, I still dont know the meter....WTF ??? I guess its a "cool" thing?!? IDK
@AHgameplay3 жыл бұрын
Im not saying it isnt "cool", Im just saying , who the fuck can relate to it????If I played this at my gig, people would only clap because they think it means something...theyd have no fucking idea....
@AHgameplay3 жыл бұрын
theyd say shit like "he's really fucking deep..." and whatnot...not having a clue.

@@AHgameplay ah Stephen. You might be asking a much deeper question than you realize... what’s the point of art? What’s the point of pushing boundaries and exploring the unknown? I can tell you this: the beauty and pure genius of what Vinnie does has brought me to tears at times and, thankfully, there’s a group of Vinnie fans out there who have felt something similar. Not everyone will be able to relate. Such is art.

First choice Gretsch, but in tour, many time with Yamaha
@drghj6 жыл бұрын
When he left Gretsch, but now He always plays Gretsch.
@Monsterdrumma6 жыл бұрын
Simon Robert Cartage companies will have Yamaha more often then Gretsch I know I worked for S.I.R. studio instrument rentals in New York. That's all sometimes on the road he has to rent a kit and take what is available and Yamaha kits are very available more so then Gretsch. At the same time you'd think Gretsch would want him to at least put tape over the Yamaha logo!

He was playing a Tony lick in the intro. Btw whats the song name?
@steveshu20093 жыл бұрын
Sounds like the intro to the song Actual Proof. Never heard that song opened with that heavy of a drum groove, but it is very cool.

awful camera work around 1 min 20 as I assume the cameraperson was falling over in awe. Practice makes perfect, is why Vinnie is so great. He never stops. But now he needs to loose weight the get fit. Long may he keep the magic.
