my mom started to cry to the song. Im only fifteen, My dad died when i was ten. Life went to hell, nothing really changed. but then she met a man that changed our lives and made it amazing for about five years. but then he started fighting cancer. he died last year... same story different pen.. My ma said she wants to meet him. and thank him for the song. that's how power full the song was

I was completely blown away with this song. I grew up with a great step dad and he died of a heart attack after being with my mom for 12 years. I loved him like a dad and he treated me like his biological son. He told all his friends at work that I was his son. This song reminded me of him. Thanks Vinnie for making such beautiful music. Just found this rapper. The guy is amazing. I don't know which side or place he represents, but this guy is amazing and reminds me of immortal technique. My step father used to listen to this song after his father died which gave my step dad more of a reason to hate hospitals too..Remember him silently listening to this blaring, looking out the window with my mother driving down the road on a summer afternoon. He changed things in My mother's life, as chaotic as it all was, I was able to see my mother's glowing smile for the 1st time in a long time. I got the call from my mother on my way to work that morning, I knew before she got any words out, and it hit like a rock in my chest; My step dad suddenly and unexpectedly died a few months ago. My mother held his lifeless body in the hospital that morning till he went completely cold. Just found this song again today, and now I'm listening to it through different eyes..
