Random fun fact (Which I don't know if Vinny or a chat member mentioned it or not, might've missed it): Ratshaker is made by Sunscorched Studios, devs behind "Negative Atmosphere", a sorta popular (at least it was) upcoming Dead Space spiritual successor. Before you get excited though, although it is still in development, there hasn't been very much in terms of tangible progress besides a handful of likely heavily outdated teasers, trailers, and an "demo" consisting of a surgery minigame of sorts that doesn't correlate with the supposed main game's gameplay loop whatsoever.

Everyone did. Chat tried to tell Vinny how to play the game (because you can accidentally cut off progress), Vinny got spiteful and made his whole playthrough a dead end, and then people started harassing the dev for making the game that way. Vinny agrees he overreacted because he thought it was going to be like Undertale where people were going to backseat the whole game so he played it the "correct" way, when they really were just trying to warn him that the NPC he derezzed was necessary for the story.

@OtakuUnitedStudio We all knew from the start, (or at least should have) that Vinny wasn't going to take the game too seriously or really sit down and follow the story and text prompts presented given it was on a Sunday stream. Also, you have to admit the NPC death sound is pretty hilarious sounding. I do think that having a player soft lock themselves pretty easily is kinda an oversight still given the concept of the game but it's not bashing a dev worthy of a move. All in all, the entire situation is a real shame.

I love vin but he was being a little cry-baby about that game, letting the chat boss him around, and his typical spineless have no opinion on anything nature to avoid offending anyone behavior (see phrase: "Its just not for me" and other non-opinion language) led to that psychopomp stream vod being likely lost forever, him caving in to the pathetic developer asking him to remove it didnt help either. chatoids are going to be chatoids, and vinlet is going to not read anything and then get confused about why the game isnt telling him what to do. I dont know why this is the one time vinyot got so upset about it though, he has does this EXACT same thing to dozens of other games. and by the way, I have no issue with that game or how vinny played it (he plays like a kotaku journalist in every game lol). I think the problem with the Psychopomp stream was that Vinny didn’t just shrug it off and ignore it like he always does. I can’t entirely confirm because the VOD got taken down but I’m 99% sure the very first thing he did after acknowledging one of the One Guy chatters was make an obviously provocative “oh, so it’s one of THOSE games, huh” comment. I'm not about to go psycho analyze someone over a one hour VOD, but it really didn't come off as him being spiteful to people. There was a hammer and it made a cool sound effect when killing people. The rest of the game went pretty alright! The lack of checkpoints seemed more like a killer (and understandably so) than the rest of the nonsense. The dev bringing it up that people were coming to him and being weird about this is the outlandish part. Like...why? Why bother the dev about this enough that he has to go talk to Vinny about it and they both conclude to just strike the video down? Anyone who saw the vod would know it’s not really that simple. I know there were a few people in chat actually saying stuff like “oh binti why you kill NPC” but most of the problems people had were with Vin hyperfocusing on those easily-ignorable chatters to make a lot of the stream a miserable sequence of him bringing up the same “undertale bad” comparison jokes he’s been using for 9+ years now. Came off as really dismissive/derisive towards a game that didn’t deserve that. Like- People do the whole “oh vinny you’re getting the bad ending” joke with basically EVERY story/choice based game Vin plays and it’s always just taken as dumbass chat banter until he’s playing a game that vaguely spikes his weird debatably legitimate undertale PTSD.
