Tips for new players (bases on what vinny does wrong here lol) - turn on autosprint. Theres no reason to ever be walking in this game. - enemies shoot projectiles that dont hitscan, so strafing is a bad idea. Youll get hit if you move to the place you were just standing - get up in the fray and run around, this will collect more healing cells and make it harder to get hit by enemies. - try as many weapons as you can, some work better on other classes (precision weapons on ranger, explosives on commando, summons on engineer, etc) - look for secrets and do lots of quests, the more you have in your arsenal the better. -kill the guy on the railing IMMEDIATELY. You need the exp.

"Why not green screen?" Maybe they were using the sodium-vapor process. Corridor Crew did a video about it recently if you're interested; it's like greenscreen but better. The reason studios stopped using it is because there was only one camera in the world that could do it, because the guy who made it didn't actually know what he did or how to replicate it. I don't know if it would work outdoors, though; I feel like you'd need tight control on the lighting.

Good on Vinny for not hate watching stuff, the world would be a better place if more people could avoid the temptation (literally, considering scummy algorithms and viewer number counting). Also great coop moment with Dev, don't remember when if ever I've seen such a spontaneous dev interaction with Vinny, at least very rare.

I don't get the lowered crosshair setting somehow being better for airborne enemies (since you would have to aim extra high in that case) or how it would be better overall, but it does hurt my eyes less than something like that bad goldeneye game using raised crosshairs instead (which was the least of that game's problems imo).

Borderlands was a lot better when it was a space western with dark comedy sprinkled in. Once every line had to be a joke and everything in universe had to be a gag it lost a lot of it's charm.

Borderlands 4 was announced recently and I'm a little excited for it to be honest. The movie sucking isn't a turn-off, because I'm not a child, but also because the story of Borderlands was already terrible before the movie. Borderlands 1 didn't really have a story, it was more world building than anything, which was fine for what it was. Borderlands 2 is when they added a real story, which wasn't anything amazing, but it wasn't bad either. Even the humor was pretty decent. Yeah, "Butt Stallion" was very of-it's-time, but what made the humor was the delivery. ClapTrap talking to the boss at the end of the first area was funny because of the delivery. Borderlands 3 had even worse humor, that felt like it was trying too hard to ride on Borderlands 2, and the delivery was so overwhelmingly cheap that it felt like a bad parody. Not that Borderlands 2 had amazing humor that transcends time, but you know what I mean; it had something. The story of Borderlands 3 felt insulting. Not even because the main villain was a streamer, that didn't bother me inherently, but as a whole it sucked hard. The movie being terrible is just the series following it's course, sadly. So I'm fully expecting Borderlands 4 to have a forgettable story at the very best. That said, the games have always been fun. Even Borderlands 3 with it's shit story was a ton of fun. Grindy in some ways for sure. I don't know how I'd feel now, but going back to Borderlands 1 and 2 over the years they are still good, but you need friends as they're too dated in my opinion. Borderlands 4... probably will be fun, but you may as well mute the dialog to save your ears. Sorry for the long comment, I know some people have trouble reading

28:43 A lot of BL fans are blinded by nostalgia and think that Borderlands 3 is when the series became cringe. It always was. BL3 just crossed the line and became insufferable. And that's coming from a BL fan. In that regard, BL1 and Pre-sequel have the best story, because they take themselves a bit more seriously, while still having somn humour. Which means that even if you don't enjoy the humour, it's way less into your face so it's easier to ignore
