@kesarwanisweta Of course, it was primarily on the man. But, the woman can not absolve herself from being the partner in crime. She is freely admitting that she didn't want her lover to get a divorce.. she was okay with him cheating on his wife even if it caused quarrels in that family, yet wasn't serious about her very 'relationship' that caused all the problems. That's the height of selfishness.

I love how people are judging and calling her the " home wrecker " sorry but let me explain! times were different then.. people stayed in unhappy marriages because they didn't know how to or they thought they couldn't leave cause of family or this society etc etc.. marriages were arranged, people were not compatible so when they met someone who they clicked with.. they were too committed n it landed them in a complicated affair or relationship.. Some people didn't have a. say or choice on who they were marrying or understanding of what marriage is lol.. at least nowadays there's freedom to make decisions on your own, no one is expected to be married before the age of 25, and non of that black mailing by grandparents or parents.. BUT unfortunately, even today I can count at least 7-8 whom I know that are unhappy, are in marriages because of children, or scared to face the reality, or just cannot leave cause of family or this society... ( no there isn't any extra marital affairs) Where is self love in this? why are people forced to stay in marriages just because there's children involved? how toxic is that? all lies.

Why to get involved with married/committed people in the first place! Yes, at times, marriages are unhappy but he had a choice to leave her. If he didnt leave her, that was his mistake and if Vinta knowing everything chose to be with him, thats her fault. Blame 50% shifts to the other woman coz knowingly she is getting involved with a person who may or may not end up with her. How is it the mistake of the wife; if she ain't a good wife, the husband can always leave her! Yeh toxic feminism wala nonsense apne paas rakho.

I think Tara went at the right time as the drama had ran its course and was becoming boring and like Ratna Patak has said at the time in an interview, she found the drama too dark or something and felt it needed to be a bit more lighter. She herself was playing a very dark character. Another reason it probably came off, was because the viewers needed to be put out of their misery who were still watching it including me lol. I don’t think I even understood the last episode of Tara. I loved the show at the beginning, but all good things have to come to an end.

Going through some comments about the serial being a regressive tale completely out of sync with the 'Indian culture and traditions', i feel there is still a long way to go before a woman being considered and treated as a male gender equal. In real life and reel life. Around this time was a Hollywood Western film release of a group of 4 women in the Wild West of the US, who strike out of their old exploited life, to start afresh, in a life which is rightfully theirs . The name of the film - 'Bad Girls'. In the interviews, the heroines of the film often decried the fact that the title could've been better and more fitting, than 'Bad Girls'!- if it was a similar tale of wrong men, it wouldn't be 'Bad Boys'. (Not the Will Smith starrer, which is a tale of brash, cocky, foolheardy, fearless duo shooting up drug cartels!)
