I dunno why, but I just got thinking of my mum's old vacuum she had when I was a kid, it was very much like this and I used to sit on it when I was small and she'd pull me around the room on it while she cleaned. XD

Hi, i have a 1978 Hoover Electronic 1000 (model S-4078) in mustard colour. Just discovered it in my parents house and it still fires up!! But I can't use it as the flexible hose and metal pipe attachment are missing and modern vacuum cleaner parts don't fit it. It still has a clean bag (can you believe it!!). Where can I source vintage parts for this mustard beauty? Ebay in the UK has not been a help.

I have the german version of this model, and i am trying to find an electric powerhead that will work with it, and wondering if anyone knows If a quadraflex powermatic would be compatible
