Absolutely stunning. My boss just walked in and I thought I was going to get in trouble for watching KZbin. Absolutely stunning collection, M! You basically have a museum there. Those later G1 figures are aging incredibly well. The colors and designs are just beautiful even if the engineering is a bit less intricate than the earlier products.

There's something to be said about G1 Transformers collections, I find them very fascinating and cool, they may have the articulation of a brick sometimes, but that's how Transformers started, they evolved much after that, quite a collection you have!

@@TransformersAndVideoGames Hmm, good question, in terms of Toy I could never get on board with Octane, I never wanted him and I still haven't gotten round to him (keep meaning to get a KO). As far as 'character goes' I do not like Springer..I was not impressed when he said "I've got better things to do tonight than die".. I'm sitting there as a kid thinking "Er, Wheeljack, Ironhide and Prowl had better things to do as well", Springer might as well have leaked oil over them dead heroes.. anyway, I may have gone off on a tangent there. Who is your least favourite?

You make a number of really good points. I have always liked Octane’s airplane mode. The truck mode is pretty weak though. As far as the weakest triple changer goes...for me that would have to be G1 Broadside. The plane was weak, the aircraft carrier mode was too small and the robot mode was a brick, even for G1 standards.

When I got back in to collecting things were cheaper than they are now. I tried to find the nicest figure I could for the money that I had. Thanks for the compliment on my collection. Thanks Graham. I know what you mean about missing out on stuff at local toy conventions. When I shot my TFCon videos a few months ago, there were things that I was interested in that I actually didn’t even notice until I watched back the videos. Other things were gone when I returned to buy them. The pre-transformers version of G1 Chop Shop is a very cool figure. I had a chance to buy one of the other ones but the seller on eBay damaged it before he sent it to me so I passed on it. I don’t tend to see the Takatoku Toys versions very often. Do you?

Hey brother. I’m glad you enjoyed the collection video and I do appreciate the compliment on my production particulars. I’m not surprised that I forgot to mention a few figures...LOL. I actually wouldn’t mind reviewing G1 Sandstorm one of these days. It a figure that I think deserves more attention than it gets. Yeah, the lack of character development and or appearances in the G1 cartoon has really impacted the interest level of many great figures. To be honest there’s no real rhyme or reason to what appears in each part of my G1 collection series. It just happens to be what’s on my shelf at the time that I’m filming. Part 3 will have a blend of loose and boxed G1 figures. There will be several more parts to the series in the future too. As I rotate the figures on my shelf, I’ll record new additions to the series.

Once again, my friend, you kept my eyes glued to the screen, that man's name was Jon Romita, and his son John Romita Jr. reprised his father's role as Blurr in the Transformers Animated series. I really love the info you have also provided on these like the WST series toys, the only one I have is Shockwave, who like a few others were licenced by Takara/Hasbro and included int he franchise. I mentioned the names of all the figures for the casual fans who might not know some of the more obscure transformers. Thanking about ordering Japanese collections number 6 g1 Megatron They were 299 for him on Amazon I called Hasbro and asked about if they’re going to make a G1 Megatron re-issue and they said no something about Gun toy laws

Yes, Hasbro will never make another G1 Megatron for that exact reason. Having said that I wouldn’t recommend paying so much for a reissue. You can definitely find one cheaper at a local toy show.

I actually have the Takara giftset version of G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime. It’s a very good figure and better than the North American version as you pointed out.

Hi Lotus. I actually do have the Cyclonus with Blue ears as well. I must have put it away somewhere. If I had one more Cyclonus, I would have his Armada from the animated movie. Well, I know what you mean about Broadside but Sandstorm has 3 great modes in my opinion. Broadside has a pretty weak robot mode and jet mode, in my humble opinion. I guess I just like the idea of an aircraft carrie floating in the ocean and all of a sudden he comes to life and transforms. Broadside would really fit into the movies too.
