Grafting Leia's arm onto Sallah seems like a Treehouse of Horror episode 😂

Great video Dave! Really liked your re-use of other action figure lines to bring all of your Salahs back to life. Keep up the good work.👍

Still on the hunt for one of those. But now if I see a busted one missing the robe, there is now a great path to restoring

These figures look fantastic. I'll admit I was a little sceptical when you started out. I should have never doubted you. After putting the robes on they look great. Plus the arms weren't damaged. So if you find original replacements. All you have to do is swap them back out. Fantastic job. Never a dull moment on Toy Polloi. Gotta Love it. Thanks again Dave.

@@toypolloi He would be cool to see, especially because of his cape design, and Bib Fortuna would be nice to see since he has a different material for his coat.

The PVC used in the POTF figures is a totally different formulation than that used in the older figures. It's less likely to break down over time from plasticiser migration. Older PVC also had chemicals in it that could be harmful to small children. I've noticed how much tougher the newer material is, too.

Could be the fabric sewed into the neckline is a facing - designed to stop the fabric around the neck stretching as robe gets pulled on and off. The original fabric is a looser knit / weave than the one you use, and I guess you will be less likely to be undressing Sallah all that much! Iron-on stabilizer would be easy to add if you find it does start to sag. Also, do they really refer to that Caucasian colour as flesh still? How funny is that! Thanks for your many entertaining videos- I enjoy them lots!

Ironically you could have used the Retro TOD Indy arms. I got about a dozen of them on clearance at Target for $5 each just for customs.

Have you thought of using the material that bandages are made from? The original material looks similar to that
@toypolloi Жыл бұрын
You can use whatever material you have to hand. I use toy knit as it is very easy to so and works well at this scale.

Why not just take both of Buff Luke's arms and make a Buff Sallah, I think Sallah deserves the Buffness for all he did for Indiana. 😂
