Your gifted MAF is your problem I had a few if that same one. They never run right. Better off with the stock one.

that vacuum line goes out to a vacuum canister under the fender

A few things: 1. Drilling a hole in the throttle body is just compensating for a problem people weren't able to diagnose. 2. This is why my 88 is going to be carbureted. I am not diagnosing and fixing all 200 sensors and all that wiring. 3. This confirms my thoughts that AC is not worth all that work. Thanks for running that experiment for me. 😆

I've got an 88 too, I should've went with a carb but was hellbent on keeping it fuel injection, mine had 256k on original block, It's now a 331 fully built, took alot of trial and error but it's good now

The old BBK throttle bodies whistle. The whistling is more noticeable when the IAC is unplugged 🦊🐴

That vacuum line goes above fender liner and it's a canister to switch from blend door to vents on stock heater box

I admire your hard work and patience on the Mustang. I don't think I could do it. If that Mustang was my horse and this was the old west, I think I'd take it out and shoot it. But that's just me! A very nice tribute to your dad.

Hey Art, just saw your video about fininishing your install of the vintage air ac setup in your coupe. Awesome vid, btw. Sucks to hear bout the dash from ebay. You could always restore the one you already have. A new red dash pad from lmr and sem paint dye to refinish the smoke gray part of the dash. And it'll look like new again.

I'm suprised that worked as I've alwasy heard the MAF is calibrated to the body of the sensor and if you mix and match the sensor and the tube that it will not work.

It may not be perfect, but a Holley Terminator will fix that haha
