This looks far better than the old Vintage Air. It used to use the levers and cables and had little micro switches that didn’t work worth a crap.

I like what you did with the clear OEM applique. I would have removed the Vintage Air name, but, that's me..Good job Jon!

Lol. Yup. Vintage air makes a new panel for the bird but it’s much cheaper to adapt the one you have

It’s not an original a/c car, and thought it would be to hard to convert over. But watching your videos we have decided to go with it. We will just need to replace the dash, which is fine . Upper dash pan and cowl need replacing anyway.

Awesome. I think your channel should be interesting and helpful. It’s real people that don’t have a lot of experience but definitely motivated to make it happen. You will be able to provide real life feedback on the process. Not just someone that has built cars before

Thanks for another great video. That JB weld looked pretty fiddly in getting all those pieces aligned, getting the epoxy on, and keeping the broken part aligned. I got anxious just watching LOL. Also love to see the VVG way to fix the oil leak in the timing cover.

@@VinylVillageGarage Hey Jon, I agree; I have nothing bad to say about JB weld. Used it for years where welding or drilling and scabbing on another piece of metal was not an option. Your patience getting everything aligned and glued, in that small access window was inspiring.👍

@@VinylVillageGarage my friend is totally insane so he bought this car for the great race like two weeks before the race happened. He has like 40 cars and he couldn’t find one to drive for some reason so he finds this weirdo rolls and I thought we’re gonna die in that thing, but you know, it never ever broke down all the way from Minnesota to the gulf shore, gulf coast, and no breakdowns. He’s from Minnesota so he’s really insane. I’m from Texas, so I’m totally sane.

I am very interested in know what caused the oil leak. Perhaps some pictures of the leaking area before you started troubleshooting it. You never know when some tidbit of seemingly boring information could become super helpful for one of your viewers. Maybe a description of the leaking area (how much oil leaked out), the cause, the fix, and perhaps a guess of what may have been done (or not done) earlier in the engine assembly to cause this leak to occur. Thanks for all you do.

I have learned with more time on KZbin the things I don’t show or almost didn’t show sometimes turn out to be some of my most appreciated videos. Lesson learned. The Front crankseal was the leak this time around, it was included in the gasket set and i questioned its quality at time of installation. New felpro gasket set and no more issues. Thank you for watching and taking the time to give me some feedback and insight much appreciated
