The term for the fake leather fabric is pleather...not sure where I heard/read it. Floofy mullet should be a channel name if it isn't already!

In Sweden the dolls are called Barbie and the Rockstars...Dana was not available here.

I found a Barbie and The Rockers doll today at my best friends antique \ vintage store for $5. The skirt on it is in terrible shape because of the faux vinyl fabric that is on the skirt. The doll still has the original earrings, original vinyl skirt, original silver blouse, and the original bright pink leggings. Its missing the purple fluffy head, shoes, microphone, and the vinyl white leg warmers. But the doll is in pretty nice condition you can its been played with years ago.

Lotion help the clothes from flaking, i put lotion on the clothes and placed it in the freezer for five minutes. Helped keep clothes mint

Where is the dark haired rocker? Dana I think was her name. She was my favorite Barbie. I also have the Barbie and the rockers tour bus.

Wow, I remember these and my set that I had got, the fake leather did flake off quickly. The pink shirt that came with Barbie, the whole Rocker logo peeled off. The second set wasn't bad, but they really should stay in the box.

I know fake vynal leather clothes flake. I HATE that. Can they be repainted? I like doing restoration.
