I have a 1999 Caroling Trio Stocking and it is a little more to it then the one you are doing but the white sequins did yellow on me but that is ok with me because I am just doing it for practice to get use to doing all the stitches. Thank you for showing us the directions because mine looks the same way so I am going to do the number of strands you say to use because mine does not tell me either on how many to use. Love watching you put this stocking together.

I add a lightweight iron-on interfacing to super thin felt before cutting anything out.
