I still have my 1962 Accutron Railroad approved watch still in the box and is running. Love the hum

My late father was a football coach at the University of Missouri. I inherited his 1970 Orange Bowl Accutron. Has two oranges between the middle and the 6 0'clock position with the words "Orange Bowl Classic 1970" between the 12 o'clock position and the middle. Given to all the coaches and players in that game which pitted Missouri against Penn State. Had it repaired about 12 years ago and it runs great. One of my most prized possessions.

At 6:30 Carl pulls out and introduces a woman's model, part of a matching pair that is featured in an ad. He mentions it's from the 70's and is a "quartz watch." The movement in the woman's example of that matching man's/woman's combo should be the smallest tuning fork movement Bulova made, the 2210, which was designed sans second hand. They fit that movement into women's, unisex and men's pieces. That movement operates at 440hz, different from the more common 214 and 218 movements which were 360hz. The catalog model number for the woman's piece is 24901-1Y, with the man's 23700-8Y. These are actually within the Darold Hanson's book.
