God I hope you're still answering questions, I know this was posted 2 years ago lol How do I get the wood flood off to expose the beams? They use some staples that would hold together the apace shuttle! Ive tried a Sawzall, tried a circular saw down the middle of them and prying. I'm getting nowhere

Interesting. Mine wasn't that bad. It helps when parts of the floor are rotten :) I would suggest focusing in one area and expose one beam. Then use a crowbar to start prying it up. I hope that helps. Good luck on your project!

That's a huge undertaking! Thanks for the tips. What a funky linoleum floor you uncovered!!!!

Thank you for watching! It is definitely more of a project than what I thought at the beginning! We are getting closer to finishing with each weekend though.

I'm about to tear into one I bought not being able to see the immense water damage under the bed. My biggest concern is tearing into it not knowing how the body is held to the frame. Would you have any knowledge on that? I have a 1984 Glendale Golden Falcon 20 foot.

I don't have the specific knowledge but for mine, the bottom plate of the walls were bolted to the metal trailer frame below. I would think most campers are built similarly.

What kind of plywood did you use to cover the beams after insulation ?

Hey, my camper layout is identical to yours. Same brittle floor around the edges, and I tore it up without doing a frame-off. Do you have holes in the bottom aluminum wrap? I have a ton of brittle spots and small holes. If you had that what did you do about it?

I didn't have holes in the bottom of the side skins or the belly pan metal. Surprisingly, those parts of the camper were intact!

It looked like your are putting green treated boards as the sill plate of your trailer. I am not sure that is a good idea . I think it corrodes the fastners that you put in them.

What type of camper is that?
