Awesome! You know your car's old, but seeing it in black and white. That really hits home! 👍✌

My 37 Plymouth came from Massula Montana. There was a window sticker that was dated 1966-67. It was a Student parking sticker for the University there. We still have that piece of glass with that sticker and it will go with the car when we sell it. I did try to find more information on the car but that has only led to dead ends. Those things are treasures to retain with our lovely cars to pass on. Thanks for the video Kieth.

How great it is to connect with the original family who owned your car! I too connected with my 49 Chevy truck's 2nd owner, who told me the name of the original owner in the same town! 60 years it was in a small town in Illinois, how gratifying to learn this! Your car is so much more special now, right? Great channel, great content and FABULOUS car! And thanks for convincing me to keep my old 49 6 volts! Absolutely nothing wrong with a well maintained 6 volt system!

Newbie here again, I think you said something about not using Bernbaum parts. I now understand why, I have been waiting for several weeks for the right oil filter. I cancelled my order today. I got the points set and timing set and tuned the carb best I could, The Duke, my 53 Windsor is doing so much better. Thanks for your advice and all the videos, you take the time to explain everything so us Newbie's can understand. Heading to a show tomorrow.

I have spare oil filters from my '53 Windsor if you want to buy them.

@@keithsgarage5831 I can source the filters locally, thanks . I drove it the farthest to date to the show today, 300 cars. At a stop , I can depress the clutch and it goes to 3rd. I think there is tension on the 3rd, 4th gears and using the clutch releases the tension. Any ideas on this. It sure would be nice if it would shift right. Thanks

I once had the identical car which sold new in Naniamo BC at Acme Motors. It is back in Naniamo in good hands. Same colour, Gem Green, radio, heater but with the Dodge truck dual carb dual exhaust setup. I was told by a guy who also had one that they was very low production of the coupes, I think my body # was 32 and I got a letter from Chrysler Canada stating how many were made, less than 50 as I recall. Mine had a small brass medallion on the left front side of the cylinder head and I was told by Chrysler club members that this usually fell off and so they are very scarce. Great cars, there was a very nice one in Burnaby, again in Gem Green, totally restored to a very high degree, I thought it might be your car but I was wrong. It would be very cool to get them all together!

This is the car that was in Burnaby. I acquired it a few years ago. Do you still own the one on Vancouver Island? I’ve seen a couple of photos of it on line. Only other one I have been able to find in Canada.

Thanks Keith. Want to ask: Would share the dimensions and type of material you used for the heat shields on your carburetors and fuel pumps? I want to prevent vapor lock if I can. Keep up the great videos! Tom N.

I don't have the dimensions as both plates that I own are currently installed on my two old cars. I did not build them from scratch. I rounded up original old Mopar plates, early 50's likely had them. Possible part # 1318518.
