I have no idea why this was a recommended video but I really enjoyed it. Brought back old memories…I worked at a Western Auto store as a small engine mechanic in 90’s and can say I have repaired every one of the saws you have. In my opinion the super 2 was the worst to work on. The ez automatic was also difficult to work on with the points style ignition but I sure do miss the smell and sound of that particular model very distinct. Also that HomeLite C5 is probably why my ears ring to this day.. Thanks for sharing ..I seen so many of these scrapped and I wish now I would of held on to some of them because they are much better than any saw made today out of plastic

@russwarner5957 I hate to see the old stuff go to scrap, I try to save as many as possible. Thanks for the great comment! Super EZ and C5 are my favorite sounding. I just got a Homelite 2100 I'm excited to get running

Forgot to say this in the last comment… but out of all those Saws the 028 SUPER is by far the best saw ever made for your average user who actually knows how to operate one. It was my favorite to work on. When tuned right it screamed rpm’s . I would love to find one.
