Whenever I see items at an antique store that I recall from my childhood my immediate thought is, "That doesn't belong here." 😂 I love the old postcard. That's in great condition for being 110 years old! Your hutch looks so whimsical styled with items you love and things from your childhood. I still love the red truck. So glad you're feeling better. It's scary getting sick these days. I'm feeling a lot more intimidated about that the older I get. Praise God, you are on the mend. Please keep taking it easy ❤😊

I’m so glad you are feeling better and praying for a speedy recovery. 🙏 I ran into your mom in Goodwill recently and she reminded me how she “dragged” you around thrifting when you were a toddler and how much you hated it. Now to see all your beautiful videos, home and decorating is so inspiring. ❤ We have always decorated our tree with the traditional style, colored lights, colored glass balls and little ornaments our kids made over the years.

Hello, die hard vintage collector here. My style is old world so think “Little Women”. I do think that your second Santa is repo but there’s nothing wrong with that. When collecting old I find that the ones stamped Japan are typically the ones from the mid century

Glad that you are feeling better. I really enjoyed your conversation because it brought back some great memories for me about celebrating Christmas with my family. I'm from a small Caribbean island, but we loved decorating for Christmas even back then. Both parents were totally into it. My dad and siblings would put up the decorations and lights and I would go with my mom to choose a tree. We definitely had the vintage stuff and you made me remember and appreciate how precious those things were/are. I get influenced by the trends but there isn't much behind them except for the aesthetic. Sincere thanks for showcasing those vintage items and for invoking those memories.

Hey Jen! Glad you’re feeling a bit better! I’m 44 and can totally relate with thrifting. I remember when I was around 8yrs old my grandpa would take my sister & I to thrift stores all the time. He bought everything there. Even broken stuff he would fix and then sell it at his own garage sales. Thrifting & DIY-ing is in my blood! Definitely not a craze here lol. Still thrift every chance I get. I’m not so much into vintage Christmas but definitely vintage/antique home decor mixed with a lot of Target 😂
