ThriftDiving.com - In this video, I'll be reupholstering a chair. It's a vintage Chromcraft office chair I found at the thrift store for under $10.00! Watch how I struggle to remove the seats which were old and stained. It turned out pretty good, despite challenges!

Hi,new sub, great channel, great projects, great enthusiasm and great honesty! I'm just wondering, 6 or so years later, if the painted plastic stayed looking nice?

You're a women of my heart. My neighbor put her dining chairs out for bulk trash pickup. Well I got them, and reupholstered them. She now wishes she had them. OOPS! 🙄

In spite of the problems you had with this, the chair is beautiful!! When you were disassembling the chair, I couldn't imagine what those grungy light colored strips of fabric were for on the undersides of the cushions. TUFTING!!! Nifty! Donna D.

Thank you! I know, right?? I don't think we EVER stop making mistakes! This morning I was watching a KZbin video with a guy who was doing a demonstration with a track saw. He looked like a professional.....that is, until someone in the comments section pointed out that he put his dust mask on upside down! HA! So, that goes to show you, we all make mistakes, even stupid ones like putting your dust mask on upside down! LOL
