At 15:00 that’s one of those gaudy (in a good way) Lincoln Turnpikes like the one I saw featured on “My Classic Car” just the other day…. Amazing!

It’s funny…patina, rust and pealing paint have become acceptable now….in the mid eighties, I had a 1967 Plymouth Fury III 4-door that had like 3 layers of peeling paint and the rear passenger side door was yellow with weld beads on it…probably from a taxi, I’m guessing…383 Commando V8 that probably needed a rebuild. I remember girls in the car next to me laughing…and I often felt a little embarrassed…..nowadays I could probably take it to a car show, haha!
