We've been talking about this one for a while......let's do a closet clear-out!! I finally went through my wardrobe and pulled some things I haven't been wearing as much. I’m sixteen and I got into the 50s style because of The Outsiders! I read the book in 7th grade and loved it, and loved it even more when I saw the movie (it’s amazing if you’ve never seen it, the actors are cute of course, and it was the first movie that made me tear up cause it’s emotional) I’m working on having a 50s greaser rockabilly style, and also how they dress in the movie. I love oldies and I haven’t listened to any new pop music since the end of 2019! I guess I’m just really dedicated to the style, haha. The fifties just make me happy and warm. I feel more comfortable this way :D

Miss Laci Fay, your clothes are gorgeous and you're so photogenic! I would not want to part with half of those pieces if I were you. That peach Hawaiian dress is to-die-for though, so somebody is going to be very happy! My first 40s inspired dress was/is an R & K originals from the 80s/90s. I actually just replaced it with a newer one from ebay. Although not from the 40s/50s, it's one of the only vintage items I own so I thought that was cool that you mentioned them!

So many beautiful things!! I absolutely adore those pendleton skirts!! I mean, those colors!! 😍 I love watching other vintage ladies online, and I'm always super eager when I get to see a little peek into their own wardrobes. Even if it's just the stuff that they're phasing out. 👋👗 At the moment I sadly don't have any true vintage clothing. I have a 36" waist, a long torso, and I'm 5'8". Whenever I do find something that will actually fit me, it's either not my personal style, not really in wearable condition, or it's insanely expensive. 🤷 But I'll definitely be keeping an eye out on your sell page! Even if I know that I probably won't be able to add any of the gorgeousness into my own wardrobe, it's still a great way to identify styles, shapes, and colors that I can try and find modern dupes for. 😁

Hello! I would suggest checking your local thrift shops. That’s a great way to find vintage records. Posters and comic books may be a little harder to come by thrifting. You could check out eBay and Etsy for those types of items.
