Yes ... as in ten bucks would not even get you a volume knob for one of these machines ... all squashed into an iPad ! You helped me write my first ever song in GarageBand and for that I will be forever grateful ... one billion times thank you Pete !

I’m so grateful for your support and encouragement my friend. It is folks like you that give me the means, motivation and energy to keep creating.

Good review, Pete! I like the way you just dove into it! I never read the owners, at first. I just jump in and start pushing buttons and turning dials. See what happens! I really liked the graph! That was brilliant! That was my favorite feature. Cheers, my friend! 😊

Cheers Thom. Yes, sometimes I overdo it and spend 10 minutes going through what each sider and dial does, and I get comments like “Pete, can you just okay it so I can hear how it sounds already?!” 😄

It's a very solid app. Not free but only $US6.99 for now and US$9.99 after the introductory sale.

Nice overview! Any other DAWs support Audio Units besides GB and Cubasis?
@PeteJohnsMusic5 жыл бұрын
I believe that Auria Pro does? And AUM and Audiobus can use AU.

Besides what Pete mentioned... ApeMatrix, NanoStudio 2 & Roland Zenbeats (unlocked) support Auv3 (Audio Units). There’s probably a couple more that I’m missing.

Love it when the community helps me answer questions. The collective minds of everyone are definitely superior to just mine.

Nice, which sounds better this vs Sunrizer?

Haven’t played with Sunrizer so cant really compare sorry.

I've got great some great synths apps. I had to swear off buying new ones but IF I was going to buy another obviously thanks to you Prof, AudioUnits is the way to go. I think I have an AudioUnits synth, in GB, no? I got a lot out of this video, seeing you craft the sound. I'm usually just running through presets.

Nice one Pete. Yeah, it's so much better to be able to use AU plugins and then edit the sounds afterwards. IAA just lacks the flexibility and I've found it much less reliable personally.
