@@JulesBurt I will do, thanks. They were nearly brand new when my dad found them but Anthony Perkins has lost a thumb over the years. (The Mego 3 3/4" curse) Although I was a huge star wars collector, I always wished as a kid, that they had the mego and later GI Joe articulation. Mego were ahead of their time , yet again. Imo.

Back in the day, I had the 95p novelization, the OST on vinyl, and the action figures. Have never seen any of the other stuff. That pop-up book is wild!!

Didn't have Old BOB or the humanoid figures. The figures were great but their thumbs would snap off very easily.

Just a little Black hole memory to share - as an 8 or 9 yr old in the early 80s, my dad (who never liked my action figure obsession and called them dollies actually came home from work with 3 figures that he found on the pavement abandoned ! My oldest brother worked out were Black hole figs - Kate, Durant and Harry) and my love affair with the B.H. began. Still have those 3 and really cherish them and the memory - someone's loss was a lifelong gain for me! NB- my dad used to throw my brother's model kits on the coal fire as punishment and always threatened to burn my figures so for him to give me some figures 'out of the blue' was super out of character. (My angel of a mum [R.I.P.] used to smuggle Star Wars figs into the house for me coz dad said I had too many already ) I enjoy boasting to him now at how much my vintage toys are worth and if he hadn't given all my corgi/dinky cars away and all my Action Man stuff I could retire now!! At least my mum saved everything else when I went to Uni in the 90s. Bless her little cotton socks! ** Ramble over---End of message **

Great collection! I'd like to get hold of a Maximilian figure one day. There was a UK Black Hole comic, from IPC.

The Max is fairly easy to get. What was the UK comic then, a one off movie adaptation or a weekly? Sure I've never come across one and didn't have one at the time.

@@JulesBurt It's a black and white reprint of the adaptation, with articles on the movie too. There's also a really nice French hardback edition of the Jack Kirby newspaper strip adaptation.

I think your 95p novelisation is an unlisted 2nd impression. 1979 was a rough year economically for UK and perhaps publishers hastily created a new edition with higher price?

It was available at Woolworths I remember, and it was based on the film. One was boxed and I think one sat in a Black Hole mug. I had the boxed one and if memory serves, it contained jelly beans
