@patsy - The color is "Mystique" by Valspar. Satin finish. Signature formula.

Annie I do not use wax. Poly/lacquer applies and cures much faster so I prefer them as top coats.

Well, I just found your channel. This dresser is AWESOME. I know it may be the music, but watching you is so informative ...but also, relaxing and peaceful. I have an old white dresser, similar to this one and I have been wanting to update it. Thank you for doing this video. I do realize this was 2017, but great craftsmanship is always important.

It’s gorgeous! I love glazed furniture, and walls! 20 or so years ago, I painted my half bath sunflower bright deep yellow, then glazed the walls for an almost burned look. It was beautiful. I noticed you almost always use the original hardware, I’d love to see some newer hardware on some of your pieces. Keep up the amazing work ❤️

Yeah, I don't see the point in replacing hardware that is worth $10-$20 a piece with modern hardware just to satisfy the other 50% of people that would like to see modern vs vintage. If I change out hardware, people say "I wish you would have left the original hardware". So I do what makes more sense, less work, and sell it for the same price. You wont see me changing out hardware to modernize pieces very much because I prefer to work on vintage pieces and my customers know me for that.

I am not usually a fan of painted vintage or antique furniture, and I prefer a more traditional finish, but this looked pretty good. I like that you were not constantly talking, as well. Good job.

That is beautiful! Great job! I have a small vanity with a stool that would look great painted like this. I had no idea that you could put stain over paint like that. I'll keep this in mind if I ever get the nerve to try it.

Hah. I didn't do them. Shh! I've got a custom order I need to knock out this weekend and if the vanity hasnt sold as is by June 3, I'll be doing the drawers and shooting a video.
