I just found your video today. I've been collecting wax paper that my online grocer wraps around my cilantro. I knew someone on KZbin will show me how to use them to make beautiful things. What beautiful things you have made!!! I can't wait to try. BTW, I don't have baby oil, but I have a bottle of mineral oil under my sink so I tried that and it worked! I am beyond thrilled. Thank you so much. As others have said, I can't believe you're 80 years old! Oh, just noticed this is part 2. I've subscribed and will now look for part 1. LOL

FYI: I cut wax paper with both it sandwiched between my cutout (I used cardstock) and alone with just shaped punches, and it worked fine. I used glitter ModPodge, and it looked pretty. I also used my brayer, not a rolling pin, which was small and very convenient to use on my card making desk area. 🙂

@abcameo Hi, Wow, that is great! I was wondering if something like that would work. Makes the process much easier. I bet the glitter ModPodge did look great! That would be especially pretty for holidays. Glad to hear the brayer worked. We had other viewers ask about that. We are thinking about doing a Part 3 to this video series and if we do we will do your ideas so other viewers can see how they work. Thanks so much for sharing! ❤😊

Thank you for coming back & doing a part two and showing more tips with this process! I popped over to your KoFi shop, thanks to your link & purchased the digital for your project. I followed your KoFi while there & have subscribed to your YT, as well. I think I’ll use my scotch glue stick rather than Yes paste, and I might try using just mixed media gel over the digital instead of wax paper (since I don’t have any). I really appreciate your ideas for inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing what you tried & your suggestions moving forward. Gilly.

I love your pieces. They are adorable. Can you use cereal bags in the place of wax paper ? I have a prayer. It's so much easier to use than a big rolling pin !!
@PrintnPixelStudio3 ай бұрын
@junerobbins6871 Hi June, You know we don't know why cereal bags wouldn't work. Maybe not as waxing as wax paper but you will be using glue or ModPodge anyway so we would give it a try. We are going to try it! A brayer would work but you would need to add more pressure than with the rolling pin because brayer is lighter weight. We are getting so many questions about methods we did not show in previous videos we might do another video. If we do we will definitely try these methods in the video. Thanks for your questions. ❤😊 Patti and Debbie

Would like to see these on a hand made card... I just may try it! Also, this is the second video I watched (just discovered your channel) and I have a suggestion. Why not use a silicone sheet instead of a book (I think that is what you are using) to glue or Mod Podge on? The glue will dry and you can just roll it off and it stays clean. I get mine at the dollar store.

Great video! Thanks! Using a spray sealer/fixative before you put the mod podge on could help keep the ink from bleeding. Don't know what effect the sealer would have on the finished piece if an iron is used. Might be worth a try!

Just found your videos, they're beautiful!! Does the Yes glue last for a long time?
@PrintnPixelStudio3 ай бұрын
@wendygale4808. Hi Wendy, Yes, it lasts quite a while. We use it on many projects we sell in our Etsy shop and for video demonstrations every week and a jar lasts us about 5 to 6 months. That comes out to about $5 per month. We like it because it is "no fail". One of our viewers just sent a comment and said she found it on Amazon for a less expensive price under another name. We asked her if she would share the name because we would all be interested in that. If she shares that information we will be sure to share that with everyone. Thanks so much for watching our videos! ❤😊 Patti and Debbie

Hey there! I'm new to your channel and exploring the craft world. I love this idea....so many ways to expand on it! I found the commentary a little confusing....It felt like ya'll were confused and had to keep going back and forth with each other. I got a little lost
@PrintnPixelStudio3 ай бұрын
@kimberlysturgis4822. Hi Kimberly, We are happy you liked this idea. We are sorry you felt lost. We work as a team and we had been making samples of ideas and questions from our viewers. We each made different pieces and when we presented them in the video we had to ask each other about the details of the pieces we each made. When you are making so many items with so many different techniques it sometimes takes a minute to remember your exact process. We do not edit our videos so you see them in a real life format. We don’t think of our videos as tutorials, they are more like demonstrations of our crafting techniques and style. Our main focus is to present projects we think our viewers would like and have fun in the process. We hope you will check out some of our other videos and a new one we will be listing on Monday. Thank you for your comment, we appreciate our viewers input, it makes for better videos in the future. ❤😊 Patti and Debbie

Don't understand why you use the wax paper
@PrintnPixelStudio3 ай бұрын
@judiemjacobson4613. Hi Judie, The wax paper is applied because it gives a textured vintage feel to the pieces. As you can see in the video it is not mandatory when making these. You can use lots of other materials to get different effects. They are super fun to make. Hope you will try them! Thanks for your question. ❤😊 Patti and Debbie
