Thank you for your film. I have my parents in law's projector to look at some very old family films. I remember using these projectors over 50 years ago, so v helpful to remind myself how to use it....thanks again.

Very nice demo. I'm trying to find an owners manual. I have the same projector but it is a JC Penney model Type 515. Only difference are the name plates. In the 70s and 80s most the electrical gadget stuff with American company names was made in Asia or Europe and had minor modifications. Eumig made great projectors.

I have such a projector but without a (driving) reel (spool). The spindle diameter is 14mm. Where can I get a reel with a 14mm hole in the center as those that I see on internet have a smaller diameter ? I hope this makes sense; Thank you in advance for your answer.

The gate moves out to reduce friction so that the film canbe rewound and to get it away from the claw that pulls it through when projectiing to prevent sprocket (NOT track) damage and not to project the lens. Also that is not the correct take up spool the right ones are designed to automatically grip the film one was provided when the projector was sold.

If the spool would be bigger it reaches right about the base of the projector the film will be automatically catched by the spool so no need to feed the film into the slot and risk of damaging it. I also have a Eumig aa S820 HQS sound projector and an Elmo k110-SM for silent movies and the Elmo can do both so regular 8 and super 8.
