The “Somerset underground” bit of the intro always gets me! 😂 I imagine Toypolloi going up against villains like Jacob Rees-Mogg by building a 1:1 working tank out of styrene and modified LEGO bits, impaling JRM with multiple technic axles! 😂

OMG This brings back fond memories of a Christmas where I had Bullet Man and the G.I.Joe Intruder on my Christmas lkist to Santa and Both figures were iner our Christmas Tree. When I tore open the Christmas wrapping paper and saw Bullet man I was the happiest kid. Thank you for this Restoration video.

Carlsberg don’t repair classic toys with everyday tools and parts, but if they did, they’d probably defer to Dave and admit they couldn’t come close… thanks for another superb video, Dave!

The seller I bought them from scammed me unfortunately...took my money & sent a package to someone else but gave me the tracking to show that they sent something...

I loved my Bulletman toy so much as a kid; my three favorites combined: GI Joe, superheroes and the Six Million Dollar man (though I cant recall which came first. I know the GI Joe copy of the Six Million Dollar Man came out around then, maybe the year before.). I wedged that helmet onto EVERY tall toy it could fit on.

This is the version I had when I was a kid! It's such a great memory, thank you!! That badge looks perfect. I just searched around a little and it looks like the non-adhesive backed printer fabric would be great for making printed Lego capes!

Great video! Glad to see he went to a good home and you were able to get him back to how he should be! Chris was saying that he sent a decal with him but it probably fell out at some point. 😁 Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing what you do with Captain Action! We're going to a toy show in July so if you need bits and bobs, let us know!

Very impressive that that red suit did not leave a sink full of pink behind, from running dye. I've had 1990s Barbie pieces that couldn't say the same.

Good restoration! Enjoying a lot of your restoration videos recently. Also wanted to thank you for inspiring me to do a little restoration of my own: I did some repainting on a beat-up/chewed on Scotty from the MEGO Star Trek: The Motion Picture line. Not as impressive a job as your work, but I'm happy with how it turned out :)

From what I understand the US versions boots are plain because bulletman can just fly but the UK had to add some way that he's able to fly by putting the rockets on his boots. Of course that's just a theory but it does make sense. Either way they're cool boots.

A handy way to stop the fraying of the elastic is to dab some super glue on it

The differences with the US Hasbro Muscle bodies and the UK/Canadian/European exports are: 1. The feet on the US ones have seperated toes, where the UK and European ones are molded with no seperation. 2. The US Hasbro Muscle Bodies simply say Hasbro, where the Exports have a bunch of text on back 3. The elastic is flesh colored on US Hasbro muscle bodies, where the the UK and Euro versions are usually Black. 4. On Bulletman in particular, the helmet on the US version have smaller slits, the boots are rubber and lack the rocket moldings on back, and the emblem is mounted to an angle on the jumpsuit where the UK version has the emblem at the 12 o' clock position. I have both versions of Bulletman, and I have paid quite a lot for both, as my US one is still on the Blister and the UK one has the Original box.

Not knowing when it was produced there might be some regulation for choking small parts and if the Jet boots could separate into smaller parts

You're using the wrong Bullet logo for the US Bulletman. The one you need is the die cut plastic non opaque version. It also has different colors to it.

@@toypolloi if you look at bullet mans feet lying down the instep(?) the curved in part of the foot, I think is also called the median longitudinal arch is on the outer part of the foot normally they would be in the inside part of the foot

Dave, great video. Very timely. Bulletman I had this toy in 1978 I love Bulletman one of my favorites. Last week I attended Joe Fest in Augusta Georgia where I picked up a custom 4in Bullet Man action figure by Fresh Monkey Fiction. It was the first thing I bought at the show very cool. It is a show exclusive limited to 300 pieces.
