Vintage glass on medium format, Nikon E 100mm f2.8 on Hasselblad X2D

In this review I use a very cheap, old Nikon short telephoto lens on my Hasselblad X2D, and I must say that this inexpensive piece of glass certainly surprised me.

The 135 2.8 E is a hidden gem also. I fell in love with it, that I wanted to get a "better" Nikkor copy since the 135 2.8 comes in both options, well I'll be darned but the slightly larger size and a little bit more glass doesn't make the Nikkors better. I tried my E against two Nikkor copies and the E blew them out of the water. No one seems to know this, so the Nikkor's sell for more, when they're actually inferior!

Agree to that. I am amazed by my Nikon E lenses, they are really sharp. Haven't tried the 135, but would like to.

Great video and interesting results. Although i recommend uploading the videos to youtube in 1440p or 4k even if you shot it in 1080p. Gives it a better bitrate and overall quality

I think the real problem, that I haven't found a solution to, is that youtube downscales the video to 720p when i upload 1080p.

Nice review. I just wish Techart had an adapter for Leica lenses on the X2D. Manual focus is OK but we get so spoiled.

Does the Techart Pro AF adapter work on your Nikon Lens?

No I have a Nikon F to Canon EF adapter on top of the Techart adapter. That was by far the cheapest solution instead of buying a separate adapter for Nikon F to Hasselblad XCD.
