What a truly beautiful video! Nothing more enjoyable than spending a nice day with family. Between the flying location, the models you build and fly and the amazing video work of your wife, I don't think you will ever see a better video of any RC flying! Let alone the beautiful vintage gliders, flying in formation at such close proximity to the camera. Amazing! Something about your videos seem to make all the troubles of the world fade away. A beautiful melting together of Sun, Sea and Sky, engaging the ladies in the fun game of catch and toss and of course the amazing flying and cinematography. The music was the cherry on top. Holy Smokes, John! Gonna be tough for you to top this! There's bits of this that would make Hollywood producers salivate with envy. The shots where these aviatrixes are silhouetted as they launch and re-launch these entrancing floaters - perfection. Brings back memories, not these exact gliders, but similar stuff. One I spent the most time flying a bit later was a Craft Air SD-100, about two decade later stuff...still monokote built up, but ASA fuse. Lots and lots of quiet hours just winching up and thermalling the the day away. :-) So serene, like this. I remember flying pulse rudder and even some Orbit (IIRC) reed servo stuff...THAT was pretty old, one channel at a time and no proportional.
