Vintage Hallicrafters SX-100 Shortwave Receiver Mark 1B Restoration: 2nd IF Mixer and Notch Boxes

In this video the 2nd IF Mixer Box is disassembled, cleaned and restored with new passive components. The box had several failed components inside which stressed the mixer tube voltages. The notch filter box was also partially restored, but a pin broke out of the 6C4 tube socket and a replacement tube socket is on order.

I figured out the problem with the camera focus. The display monitor shows a sharp picture but not a reflection of the actual capture. So I will have to find a better one that i can afford.
