Grab a cup of tea and get ready to explore!! We are going inside a hoarder's attic for the first time to hunt for vintage treasures. This is a long one, but the treasures found were worth it! The green gingham dress that has the detail undershirt looks like a clogging outfit. Clogging is a southern style of dance where they wear something like that. They put a big fluffy petticoat under their dresses.

I think the short lime green dress is for square dancing. They wore a ton of stiff petticoat under to make it flounce and bounce. Then usually had on cute underpants with ruffles to peek out when they twirled around

I’m wondering if the short hand made dress was a square dancing dress. Would explain the underlining of gingham and the length. My mother mentioned square dancing was popular. We both love watching your videos! I’m 58 and have loved vintage since I was about 12/13. So fun that everyone expresses themselves with what era they love now. Wish I had been braver back in the 80s and beyond. Now I embrace it. Keep the wonderful videos coming. Pets and love to the kitties!

I couldn't love this more! I was a teenager in the '70's and Guinne Sac (?spelling) was a very popular clothing line. I imagine that dress was a prom dress. I can't chose a favorite, so many great things. But, your husband joy in seeing that tie was my favorite part of this video. I always wonder about why hoarders are like that- I am guessing it is a mental illness. It is always unfair for a family to be left with that to deal with. But, I see now that their struggle can end up being a joy in many ways for those who find the treasures. I definitely want to watch Kelly's channel. That will be interesting.

. You really got so many wonderful things ! Fun finds !!! I've been to Montego Bay back in the 70s :) The "tiki" print dress would be beautiful on your with your coloring, as will the red dress. Ok... and everything else ! :) The bright green dress looks like a square dancing dress that you would wear fluffy crinolines under. One of the most wonderful outfits I've ever had was my mother's pink wool suit she wore as her going away outfit right after their wedding reception in 1949. I wore it during the 70s and 80s :) tfs 💗💗💗💗 I LOVE what you found !!!💗
