Lining them up on common baseplates and calling them 'units' makes it look like they are about to take part in some sort of tabletop and/or video game... Still, its neat to see.

I think castle and pirates vintage are far more better than after 1996. Now the castles are to colorfull to much fantasy, magic etc. They should reedytion vintage sets for people who where kids back days and can not afford for iven medium size sets ;/

i play a slightly semplified varian of kings of war (mantic) with my lego armies! it's easier than wh because in that game you don't have to remove casualties, just keep track of damage with some bricks ;-)
