@@BenjieGonzagaVlogs you should be able to find them on ebay. Sometimes with a camera as a bonus. Or check your local used market/second hand stores. These are considered obsolete by most people and they are usually happy to get rid of them.

Hello Thomas, as a Vintage lens user, I found your channel very insightful for both beginners and the experienced photographers. I believe that you are doing a great job. The vintage equipment for photography/cinematography are actually a hidden gem for the enthusiasts, especially whom does not want to waste their money unless they have no regular income from the photo works. So, I wish you keep feeding the page and sharing your knowledge with the followers. Note: Your videos are in a great quality...

🤣 so true! Thank you

Oh yes!! I am actually only using one lens on my camera: the Classic Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50. Really, I can’t shoot with any other modern lens. The look, the colors and the built quality of this lens in unparalleled. Of course, I am shooting filmic/cinematic style photos… for general usage though I don’t think that a vintage glass is for anyone today. I used to manual focus lenses since the film era, but there are newer photographers out there that may find the manual focusing slow or irritating. In general, it depends on the genre and photographic style. If you like the vintage look you good to go. For the lovers of clinical pixel level sharpness there are better options.

True, vintage lenses usually lends a specific look that might not suit all situations and subjects. But I still think most people should have at least one ;)

Ebay och tradera. Ebay är oftast bäst utbud, störst konkurrens = bättre priser. Undviker auktioner och kör bara "Buy now" Lycka till

@@thomasfransson can you link me to these lenses and the adaptor I'll need for the sl2 thanks in advance
@thomasfransson3 жыл бұрын
@@chizzlebeatz The adapter could be found on both ebay and Amazon and most well stocked camera stores. Or they can bring home for you. The lenses, since they are vintage 2nd hand it's not quite as easy to find the exact lenses other than on ebay or similar online market places. I would suggest that you check your local thrift stores and flea markets for lenses first. You can make great deals that way. After you find a lens or two you will know what mount adapter to get. I just happened to have Pentax laying around. But there's tons of brands and lenses out there that peoplearent using. So go on a hunt, with a little googling you can find out what mount and check if there's adapters available before you purchase.
