Part of me thinks you're nuts for spending that much time and effort on a beat-up rusty cabinet. But the other part of me is very impressed by what a great job you did on it and that it's not going to a metal scrap heap or a landfill. Very nice.

This is the perfect video to watch while drinking my coffee on a lazy Sunday morning. There is no way I would take on a job with that much paint stripping because I hate doing it more than anything but it was seriously satisfying to watch it peel off the cabinet. You have done a great job of repairing and cleaning all the metal in the cabinet. I really like the result. I would have given the hand of anti-rust spray paint. The results of painting with a spray gun are smoother and better finished than those painted with a brush. Good job!! Thanks for share!!

I would like to see it now 10 months on! You won’t stop the rust or corrosion once it in the metal! I believe the project will have rusted by now??😳

Don't worry, the rusting has been stopped. It is in very good condition now. Rusting is all about moisture. Even if you sandblast, if you have a humid environment, the rust will come back the same day. If you want, write your e-mail address and I will send you the current photos of the table.
