Vintage Norwegian Search Light From WW1 | Salvage Hunters

Drew and Tee fly to Norway where they set out on a thousand-mile adventure. Although concerned the prices may be out of reach, Drew seals his first Norwegian deal at an old sawmill turned gallery. Elsewhere, the chaps comb through a sprawling collection of classic car parts. At a wildlife park near Tunhovd, Drew is keen to buy antlers and skulls. Drew and Tee get a warm welcome from the owner of a remote manor farm.
Drew Pritchard, the owner of one of the UK's largest decorative salvage yards, is always on the lookout for new items to replenish his stock, and he has no qualms about scouring the countryside for them. This series follows Drew as he searches for old and lost pieces of history throughout the world, including some opulent estates. But locating them is only half the battle; Drew must persuade the owner of each object to sell it to him for a good price, and then it's off to the scrap yard, where his team restores it to its former glory before selling it for profit.

If he knew the prices were going to be higher, he should have brought more money!! It's a different culture with different attitudes. You get what you pay for and not every single thing is about profit!!!! I love this show, but it's his crew I love. I love T. He is such a huge help to Drew and is so easy going for Drew's type A personality.

I was at the site of a film production that were filming a "reality" show very similar to this. Whenever a woman walked into the shot, the camera crew instantly put their cameras down and stopped filming and wouldn't start filming again until the she left the shot. I always used to wonder where the "women" are in some of these shows and I wouldn't have believed it, until I actually saw it with my own eyes. These people would have you believe that this is a "man's" game, when it really isn't.

the animal park was frightening, and typical of European animal hoarding. I understand education opportunities, but the animals should stay in the wild and live full lives, even if it involves injury and death. People degrade the land by concentrating the animals and it makes everything sick. That woman pushes herself on the wild things and they don't deserve that energetic vampirism.
