I was 16 years old when I owned my mini and now am 64 retired engineer but am still madly in love with my old mini .The Brites are extremely intelligent in building small cars i wish they'd stay this way and provide us with economical minis like before

I have a Mini Cooper MPi 1998 rebuilt wroth 7k + and a Mini Mayfair 1993 rebuilt worth 5K +... However, I would love an Austin Severn Mini! Just lovely! I wish they never took the door hinges away from later minis! Such an iconic original look, why change it!

Same as my Dad’s 1964 Austin Mini Super Deluxe, only his was one of the last with the push-button start whereas this one is key.

GforceSports Even though the Fiat was arguably a better economy car, the Mini is more revolutionary as it encouraged people to also adopt a transverse engine in the front, as all modern compacts do, even the new Fiat 500 has the same layout as the Mini, and not that of the original Fiat 500.
