Vintage Plough or Plow or Grooving plane -- A Closer Look!

This is a beautiful Plough plane made by David Shiverick in the mid 1800's in New York! This thing works great for a 170 year old, hand made tool! Made of Rosewood and boxwood, the finest of materials available!

Thanks for stopping by! That is a really cool old plane...I ended up selling it, but wish I hadn't! I have another I found later, but it's not so old and rare and sadly doesn't work as well either :)

2:15 do not use oils on the screws! Got it! I honestly would have used BLO and paste wax on it, 10 minutes after I got it home. Glad to know that's a bad idea, beforehand.

It's an ANCO BILT drafting table. Probably around the 1920s. Built out of Glendale New York. I have a 38"x48" which I believe is Probably the original dimensions of your table.

You are totally welcome! I haven't seen any of the new company Enicars! I don't know anyone that has them, and they are just expensive enough that I don't want to spend that much on such an unknown :-/ If my channel gets bigger, I will reach out to them to see if they want to loan me one to review. I am dying to see if they are the kind of quality their price represents (!?) Let me know if you hear of anyone who has them...I would love to talk to them :)
