I love it!!! My grandmother had one similar, still works, radio & the phonograph. Just an idea you can put an warm white led strip behind the radio strip to light it up like a soft light.

I love it! I have a very similar radio that I'd like to refinish. My vision is to put a light behind the dial area and put in a speaker so that I can play music from the 40's music, especially during the holidays!

I have an Airline radio that is similar. Mine was in the family and is is good shape but would love to have music come out of it. I am trying to keep mine original, sentimental reasons. Love the comments here, putting a light behind to show the dial.

I used to love Howard’s….until I learned the proper way to clean/preserve wood. You promote Howard’s because they’re your sponsor. Along with the paint. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Foolish

Lol, no. Howards has zero idea who I am nor does beyond paint and I don't really do sponsored content. I used Howards because in this case I didn't want to completely refinish the wood and lose the lettering on the front of the radio. restore a finish isn't right for every project, but for this one, it was just what I needed.
