Omg, I adore this room! My grandmother and her girlfriends had a break due club and their husbands dubbed them “The Owls’ Club” because they would play until late at night (about 10.30, haha!). Anyway, they all started buying owls for each other. I have many of her owls displayed on my kitschy sunporch now. Thank you for the inspirational tour. Also, love the gorgeous blue Bakelite radio! I have a yellow Packard Bell (1964) and a blue Motorola (1950s), love them!

Wow, the quilted bedspread is stunning, but I like the chenille one better. The color you chose for it perfectly complements the room. Great decor, gorgeous bark cloth curtains, a very fun room, but I bet some kids would be afraid to sleep there with all the big-eyed spooky owls! Thanks for sharing.

Those drapes ARE gorgeous. They make an implement for spray cans that will hold the button down for you. It can be found at most hardware stores for under $2.00. It sure saves on the index finger!!

Just watching this now the colours are so lovely. That chenille bedspread is lovely I love how the pattern goes right to the floor. That quilt was a steal so much work in it. Loved the way you display your owl jewellery so effective. The headboard/mantle was so clever too.

I'm very happy to know that you think it is not too Crazy ;-) It's funny how you can have some things for awhile, like my planters, that I bought actually for displaying on my kitchen shelving up high (where I now have the milk glass planters instead), then not be using them any more for my original plan. They ended up outside on another shelving unit mixed with the McCoy pink planters. But I've had squirrels and even Raccoons climbing up on that shelf and constantly breaking my vintage planters! Then late one night when I was supposed to be getting to sleep, I thought about how they might look fun on that fireplace mantle because of the variety of green they are. Do you ever get ideas like that late at night and then have an even harder time getting to sleep because you can't wait to try your idea? I like that you give us a clear shot of everything and great explanations. I watch you on my big tv so I can see every detail but have to go to my tablet to comment and like. I was curious when you said some of your crewel is common so I looked on Ebay. What is interesting, is that often completed pieces are less than the kits. Great collection! My Mom has always loved Hooties too. We just moved her from a 4 bedroom to a Senior Living apt w/a Craft Studio. Her owls are all over the apt. She found a lone wing back chair at a Resale shop & we based the entire apt. On it. 🤎🦉 Love the McCoy mini pot collection on the mantel.

You are really creative with how you put things together for viewing and being beautiful. I especially liked the long mirror with the largest owl necklace.. I also really enjoyed the larger twin owls you repainted and brushed with gold. They look wonderful. The quilt is just fabulous and the three dimensional flowers are very unique IMO. Once again great filming, no Dramamine needed and good descriptions. (so many move too fast for my older eyes to see) Have more fun on the hunt once this virus danger is lessened and we can go hunting again.

The color scheme looked odd to us. Oh well. Im very blessed with artistic abilities since childhood and love to repaint some things that aren't that valuable. I love to redo the fun old Homco, etc. mirrors grom thrift stores in nicer colors. I have a collection now in my bathroom and will video sometime. Another fun video. Crazy Lamp Lady collects owls, too. Even has one tattooed on her arm! The owl purse looks a lot like the little doll size purses LizRetros makes. They are so neat. You would like them. Maybe you've seen them. You did a great job repainting those foam owls. Again, I like your color scheme. Oh, the chenille spread! I like the planters, the owl mirror and the owl you hung on the other mirror. My favorite is the Lucite pen holder and the flower. I don't find the Lucite much, but I only do thrift stores, not antiques shops.
