Patek's arrogance leaves me a speechless. The majority of haters own a Patek the rest simply don't bother. I would never own one even if I was rotten with money. I don't get the point of spending that much on a watch. But the lack of humility of Patek might backfire at them.

I hope everyone hates Patek so prices come down. I'm saving for a 5711 or a 5066. I don't like the Neptune at all . Yuck. It reminds me of the Chopard. Ugh, I usually agree with your taste. The only pick of yours I like here is the flightmaster. I love your idea to bring back stone dials. How about a reasonably priced Eastern Arabic numerals watch from Rolex.... The cheapest one now I think is a light blue day date for 80k.

TAG/Heuer has a great catalog of shapes from the 70's. I'd love to see another C-shaped-case Carrera or Autavia, or a revival of the Camaro (prettier than the Monaco, IMHO).

Rolex 5640 Cellini. Hand's down the best looking Rolex ever made. Make those dials out of stones and it's game over. Also, the King Midas is amazing, but that is way more niche and Rolex is very stoic. But the Cellini 4650 is absolutely stunning and I'm one of the poeple who would buy any other watch than Rolex. But that one... that is pure class and luxury.

I like the old Cartiers. But maybe a Rolex cushion. Those very early Rolex. Squared case and very small. Made of gold . Better one that will not say Rolex. Early 1900 watches were amazing.
