@@HeXtian I didn’t see anyone suggest this so I just thought you’d like to know that you might actually really like using the polychromos pencils for your initial sketch! They’re oil based so they don’t really smudge that much when you’re painting :)

I had painting classes at uni and I chose watercolours because I thought it would be cool and easy. It was cool but definitely not easy! Your painting made me want to try watercolours again 😁 The hair turned our super pretty, especially on Mars! ❤

I really like the end result! Like OMG!! A tip for making clouds look like clouds may be, that the darker tones are usually at the bottom of a cloud while you put the color at the top and faded it down.. Also don’t forget that it’s better to work in layers.. so that also applies in the background.. so start with a base color and the darker tones are usually lower than higher on a cloud

One tip: People who uses water colors to paint illustrations, use colour pencils just to add some details at the end. You can use them for adding texture to the hair, for example, of for the finest lines in your drawings.... I think you know perfectly where to use them, if you want. I'd love to watch more videos like this!!! A big hug!!!
