Vintage Schumacher CAT 3000 (21.5T brushless) at RCHR Open Practice, Part 1, 07/13/24

I took the silver can motor out and put a Hobbying 21.5T (fixed timing) in this to see what it can do. Needs taller gearing than the Torque Tuned motor for sure, but it gets there. I used a 81T spur (Kimbrough style mounts fine on the Schumacher slipper hub) and 28T pinion. I was also doing some tuning as the car does drive a little on the stiff side. More noticeable on jumps. So for Part 1, I put the front shocks to the outside bottom hole on the tower. This gives me a little more droop than the outer top hole, but since the shock it toward the outside it is also stiffer as the arm as less leverage. You'll notice the car pushing a little on some of the turns, but it's still manageable. In Part 2, I moved the front shock to the bottom inner hole and it worked much better.
