I got stuck in the mountains once in Mt. In that sticky spring snow...WAY too far to walk back to the truck. Figured I"d be camping out till it got cold enough for the snoe to stiffen up. Pure luck a couple guys were on a short after supper loop and just happened down the trail I was on! Was a little more carefull where I went by myself after that!

i had a 1980 yamaha 250 enticer single cylinder it would run 65 miles an hour all day long best sled i ever owned never broke

Yeah, I like the early 80s enticers. A couple guys in our club have them and they seem like good machines!

The sleds on this video are just too modern for me...I was a boy in the 60's and at that time I drooled over the sleds going around near my place. Those 70's sleds are too new....I must be getting old.🤪

Damn I miss those rides. Havn't had a sled for 20 yrd. now. Can't find anything affordble around here! I'm kinda picky...It has to be an old Skidoo or Skiroule! That's what we always rode!

very nice sleds! I finally found a vintage sled ride video with a ski whiz... haha. I can tell it's a pre 1971 model because it hasn't got any hood scoops.

You need to put a couple of ratchet straps… Big ones, like the military ones or the truck ones. In your toolbox. You can ratchet yourself out

Good video. It's nice to see people loving the vintage snowmobiles still. I just bought a 1976 340cc Olympic there was no wires to the ignition. The only wires was going to the coils and 4 wires coming from the Meg. Just wanted to ask you if you have any pictures of how to wire this old sled up again. There's no spark because of it. I look forward to your response. Thanks
