In this video, we have the continuation and expansion of the previous video, showing how the box was built, step-by-step and in detail. We present the physical construction, the internal coating, the correct way to mount the speakers and we present several tests, both with white noise and with 3 songs. At the end, we take stock to show the conclusions we reached and whether the whole project was worth it.
STORY OF THIS VIDEO
--------------------------------------
We were lucky enough to find a pair of brand new 8-inch NOVIK Full Range speakers in the box. Manufactured in 1997, they were sold by the company that auctioned Novik's bankrupt estate. Despite its small size, this speaker surprised by its flat response, performance and low resonance frequency, parameters that will allow the construction of a good acoustic box suitable for vintage stereos, with up to 20 Watts RMS per channel.
Using this vintage speaker as study material, in the previous video we showed the entire design process, from the initial objectives to the final project, with the necessary tests to confirm that the thing will really work.
In this video, we have the continuation of the previous video (see above).
