Those small salt/pepper shakers are used fir individual seting at formal dinners. Everyone having their own set elimminates passing salt and pepper shakers around the table.

When I go to a thrift store I don't go with any expectations. I love cruising around the store and seeing it all. I pick stuff up if I like it and have a place for it. I'm old so I don't pick up shelf sitters anymore. I'm in the process of selling things like that. I'm over loaded with stuff really. I love the tray that has the legs on it. All the things you bought are beautiful.

I've become addicted to trifting/ charity shopping. Alot of my finds I have in my home are from places like that. Lots of what I find I do up cycle some of them. So the first two items you grabbed were staples in my Mamaw’s house when I was growing up. I always thought the shakers were just for us kids because they are “child-sized” lol. I have most of her rattan paper plate holders now that I use for all sorts of things. Great finds, Kristen! 🫶🏻

As someone that does custom framing, having glass on artwork is necessary to preserve it, (not canvases). If you use particularly museum glass it looks like there is no glass and will protect against 99%of uv light.
