Great video, really interestig. I was aware of the filter on the end of the pump, but had not accessed one. The filter, I have seen one worse and that was the cab filter on my 3070. with the pipes plumbed back to front, it must have been vewry difficult to bleed it prior to your discovery and ammedment, well done.

Found the exact same plumbing fault on my 165 when I bought it. Even between filters. The injector filter was completely clogged. I couldn't keep it running 5 mins till my uncle told me it existed😂

I have a red cab 590, well whats left of it. When I bought it about twenty years ago it wasn't running. I remember it being a pig of a thing to bleed up compared to a CASE 785XL which was self bleeding. As usual, you show us how it should be done. All good stuff then!

Bought a 35x a couple of years ago. Had the filter off. Didnt find out with way to mount that washer or bowl looking thing pressing up against the filter.

hey! great video, quick question: what does it mean wheb i have no fuel pressure either from the bleed screw on top of the filter and the 2 bleed screws on the pump ? thanks for answering !

Loving the vintage Thursday vids What’s your choice of oil for the older tractors, I have a 1953 grey Ferguson that I recently purchased and need to do an oil change on the engine and back end

These old tractors are so very forgiving. Any 10W30, 10W40, 15W30 etc, will do. Some sticklers only use SAE 20 or 30, but there's no good reason to do that. The modern multi-weight oils are much superior, with no disadvantages.
