I loved it all, but the hair covers were especially fun. I can NOT believe the jars still had the cosmetics in them!!!

Hi! I like vintage cosmetic products/packaging. I often do a little assemblage of those items in my bathroom. My Mom wore those rain bonnets all the time! That was a great reminder of her! She was 45 when I was born so almost old enough to be my grandmother (esp back then). Those bygone days...

@@lillyrosebluecaroljohnson1185 I LOVE vintage cosmetics and their packaging! I do the same in my bathroom! One of my aunts sold Avon in the 1970s and 80s, and she used to give me all her old samples. What I wouldn’t give for that old bag of cosmetics!

Hi Meredith, firstly I want to say Avon has a huge lawsuit over their talcum containing asbestos so please be careful with your Avon container you shared. With the rain bonnets maybe paper dolls with mini rain bonnets made out of the originals? I do a twice a month Farmers/Community market, today a vendor was liquidating, she had a whole box of her moms patterns. She told me she personally had just turned 75 and how some predated her birth. Yep, oldest one was 1939!!! Also included was lots of transfers, decals and also several embroidery patterns some date back to late thirties! The price? Ten dollars!!! Almost 70 patterns plus the other things I already mentioned and.... some vintage ephemera! I thought my antique lace hall was good this pretty much matched it! I absolutely love hauls, thank you so much for sharing:)

@@brandiperelli4090 Wow! That is so cool! Great to hear you got an awesome haul this weekend too! Wow - sewing patterns from the war era. That is neat. Where is your farmer’s market? Thanks for the warning on the talcum powder! I’ll find a way to safely dispose of the powder.

@@PopVintageHomeI live in Washington, a little town I used to live in about 20ish minutes away hosts it. There’s around 30 inside/outside vendors and it’s held twice a month April through September. We just wrapped up yesterday. It’s a lovely, lovely market. I’ve been gifted beautiful things this year, so many kind people, two ladies came just yesterday one gave me a box of tea cups one gave me bag of doilies! Really wonderful connections made, and the most nicest of compliments given!!! Awesome artisans, crafters and food trucks too! Grateful to have been part of it:)
