I really really love how the wallpaper looks in your kitchen. It's beautiful! I need to show my Mom because those are the colors she had when I was growing up. Patterns are outrageous! I almost fell over when you said $30. I used to buy patterns all the time. I took a sewing class and when I loved to sew but life got busy. Now I don't sew much. My Mom used to make aprons all the time. She was very good at it. I have some beautiful ones that she made for me & my daughter. I will always treasure them. I have one very well used apron of my grandmother's. I will always treasure it. I love how you decorated your bathroom. I think it looks beautiful! I'm glad David's surgery went well. Lilly looks so cute in the pretty apron you made her. This was a great video! ❤😊

Thanks Darlene. I have some aprons that my mom made when her dementia had started to take hold and they rip me apart. The stitching is bad and the patterns don't match but she was still sewing. I will never part with them.

I love the wall paper so much. I have wall papered many,many,many times in my life when I was younger. I am just 5’1”. Kitchens are the worst. But it always makes a big difference. I don’t paper anymore.

I love, love, love the wallpaper on the kitchen, maybe even more than the bathroom wall. It just looks so retro and cozy like a 1950's kitchen. I know you will love preparing meals there ....but maybe not doing the dishes 😂. Thanks for sharing your outings and the beautiful birds.

I've never had a dishwasher. We bought a brand new mobile home in 1992. No dishwasher. When we built our house almost 20 years later we made a spot to put a dish washer when doing the cabinets. Its wired for it. But, we were limited on money when we went to move in. We used our stove and fridge we had in our trailer because they were both new at the time. We paid cash while building our house. We didn't get a loan. So our house is paid for. So needless to say we had to pick and choose what was important so conserve money. I skipped the dishwasher. 12 years later and still no dishwasher. I get more comments on the fact I made a great spot for my trashcan. I always laugh and say no that's actually for my dream dishwasher I'm getting one day.. lol. Love your videos. Your house is so cute!

Becky I enjoyed the video. I have a friend that sews. She goes on line and prints patterns for free. You may want to check it out. I think one of my fondest memories of my grandmother’s is of them always wearing their aprons.

Hi Becky- I never had a dishwasher 'till we moved to this house (13yrs. ago) and I never use it! I can get my dishes washed, dried, and put away alot faster by hand. I L-O-V-E the wallpaper, But I will NEVER have wallpaper again! My husband wallpapered every inch of every wall in our other house and I L- O-V-E-D it but that was enough for me! Enough of this old fuddy duddy's complaints- The apron is super cute! Have a blessed day!

Haha, you're too funny. I am old enough to remember the time when wallpaper was in everyone's home, and in every room. As a matter of fact my sister hung wallpaper for a living and made a good career out of it. I believe it is coming back in style because I saw a Facebook post of a wallpaper hanging business just recently. I think it was easier to hang back then though because it was wet from the paste. The dry peel and stick is very unforgiving.

They are coming along. I think I am going to have to mix things up a little with the centerpieces because finding the same florals weeks apart is not working out as I had planned. So far I have 5 made and I need at least 15.
