The loop was a pretty important part of my musical upbringing. Living in St Louis during the 80s/90s was a treat.

I've been there. Awesome music store. Nothing beats being able to physically touch your music source of choice. CD's,records,cassettes,8 tracks. Forget that online music downloading stuff of today. I love buying cds and putting them into my cd player and listening to them.

I miss the days of flipping through the albums and reading the album jackets cover to cover like it was the best novel. My fingers would get sore flipping through them that fast.

It's great store. Another great record store in the area is Record Exchange. Not as lively of place like Vintage Vinyl, but they have a great collection of records and memorabilia. The only downfall they have is that more cult following artists like Bowie, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, and Iggy Pop are nowhere to be seen.
